I celebrated my 4th smoke free Christmas this year, and enjoyed every minute of it! Here's hoping you all had a wonderful Christmas and may you have a very healthy, happy, peaceful 2012!!!!...oh, and a smoke free one as well!
Wishing everybody a wonderful smoke free Christmas and a Happy and Healthy 2012!
4 years ago, I remember Christmas and smoking. Driving to Cleveland Christmas morning, I'd smoke a pack each way knowing that I wouldn't be able to smoke for the 8 hours I was with my family. Covering my breath with a whole tin of Altoids. Changing clothes at a rest stop 5 miles from the house so I would be fresh. Spraying 1/2 bottle of cologne so I wouldn't smell of cigarettes. What an adventure. NOT!!!
This year, we did the family thing yesterday on Christmas Eve. The drive to Cleveland yesterday morning was uneventful. I didn't need to change clothes. I didn't need any cologne. I didn't need breath mints. I didn't have anxiety about how much longer it was going to be until I could have a cigarette. What a wonderful Christmas with the family I had this year! I'm so glad I don't smoke anymore!
Hey Fellow Non-Smokers and soon to be Non-Smokers!!!
I'm marching proud on my 4th consecutive smoke-free Christmas since I was a child!!! Thanks to the SSC and each and every one of you for making this possible!!!
What a joyous time of year. I am so very proud to be marching with this group of great quitters. One day at a time, take a moment and reflect on your accomplishment.
To those lurking and who are tired of the crud and ill effects of nicotine....we are all living examples of what YOU can do to......
Enjoy your time with family and friends and always
