Hey Mike!

Congrats!  From looking at your pic, you can really tell that you have shed some poundage!  Well done!   Remember, slow and steady wins the race.  I've read that you really ought to take the weight off slowly and there is less chance of gaining it back.  I'm back on the calorie counting thing again and the weather is starting to get really nice, so I'll be getting more exercise out in the yard.  I'm shooting for a half pound a week, so I'll keep ya posted!

By the way, there IS a glitch in the system and it made a lot of us in a certain membership time frame become Canadians!  All you need to do is send a message through "feedback'' to get your country of origin corrected.  They have already taken care of that for a few of us!

Hey Jim,

Thanks for checking in on me I really appreciate it. I have not reduced how often I use them buy I have reduced the strength. I reward myself with bigger fancier "mods" (units, especially large batteries) quite often. The amazing thing is the treadmill does almost nothing to increase my heart rate unless I really push it hard. That alone is amazing!

Your Nephew is doing fantastic and I can for the first time see myself getting there as well. I am now mixing some of my own juice and have a couple of flavors that are almost void of nicotine.

My weight loss holding at about 18 pounds and I feel as if I can breakthrough the plateau fairly soon. 18 in 2 months is not bad. I will post a new pic in a few.

Thanks again for your support, bud.

Mike

Hey Mike!!!

Over 2 months under your skinnier belt now!!!  Way to go, buddy!!!  Are you finding that you are able to go longer between hitting the e-cig?  I have been wondering about that since my nephew quit smoking and started using the e-cig almost 6 months ago.  The great thing is that you both are not smoking the "analogs", and I'm really proud of you both!  BTW... you still achieving any weight loss?

Still vaping and no cigs. The e-cigs certainly replaced the need for analogs almost instantly. I feel so much better already. Also ordered biggest loser meal delivery and have lost a few pounds too.

thanks all, looks like my route to success is vaporizing. At least better than the chemicals in analogs. I feel so much better already!

Hey Mike, it might be worth your while to go thru the program one more time and see if you can figure out why you smoke. I am guessing you're an emotional smoker, which is why you switch to food  when you quit. I know because I was an emotional smoker / eater too. You have to find a way to deal with the emotions, feel them, acknowledge them and then let them go. I do it by meditation, just a quiet few minutes in the am, it works every time. Focus on your breathing, 1 - in, 2 - out and then when you are calm and relaxed, ask your self, what needs attention today? What am I feeling, and when you know what it is, ie. anger, say "Hello anger!" and just let it be. Its worth a try, anything to help you get quit is worth doing.
Best of luck!

Hey Mike!!!

Great to see you back again!!!  It's good to know that you have a stubborn streak and are still striving for freedom!  I hope things worked out well for you on the ranch!  I have been watching that program since it's first program and like the SSC, it really helps people to make life style changes for better health.

       Wishing you well, buddy!!!
