Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together. - Vincent Van Gogh
There's this rust stain, on the fairly new sink, in a vanity in my bathroom. Every day, I use a sponge to rub at this stain, each time I wash my hands.
Although the stain has been there for a while, it's a symbol of the great challenges, and how I can tackle them, gradually.
The first requisite for success is the ability to apply your physical and mental energies to one problem incessantly without growing weary. - Thomas A. Edison
Hugs if I sound aggressive it is not meant to be. I'm assertive with myself because I know if I let me I will slide back. I had some crummy jobs and some bosses who thought because they signed the check they could do as they pleased and co workers that would cheat me out of the better paying easier jobs. I put up with it for the money, always the money. No loyalty to me, no loyalty to them. It is tough knowing the only reason I got hired was because I was better than someone of the right religion. But it was nice knowing I was better and being better made me feel good. I took their money, but I don't work for them anymore and except for this post I don't even think about it because you can see how upset it could make me. They do not get to play in my mind. I don't owe them that. I don't owe them anything. Neither do you.
