I like food. I like it a little too much.
Because I have to keep my weight down to keep the pressure off my knees I have to limit my intake. So if I'm going to do that then Kraft dinner just doesn't do it for me. I like to put an apple in my oatmeal, and I like the large old fashioned flakes. A half cup of flakes with a cup of water, the cut up apple and a level table spoon of brown sugar. Micro wave at six for around ten minutes. longer if you are going to add milk. I like a pinch of nutmeg also.
For supper I have a rice dish.
One and a half cups of brown basmati rice cooked in about three and a quarter cups water.
Salt if you want it.
Two pounds real or vegetarian burger. Drained if it is real.
One pound of bacon cooked bite size and crisp. Skip if you are vegetarian. You could use carrot coins. (thin slices of carrots)
Three or four good size onions chopped and fried. And as much garlic as you like.
One cup heated but not cooked peas.
One table spoon honey. Yes honey! Cayenne pepper to taste.
Actually the cats get some of the hamburger so it is a little less.
I get some of the bacon so it is a little less.
If you don't have honey or want it then use soya sauce.
This freezes well if you are single.
