Crispi, Thanks for sharing your story. Our members should be along soon to share their experiences. I recommend you start working through the program so that you may start learning about your panic cycle and phobias. We also recommend seeking professional assistance from a mental health professional as you go through our program for additional support. You talked a lot about what other people thought of you but what do you think about yourself, accomplishments aside? Keep us posted. Danielle __________________________ The PC Support Team

Hi, I have not done the programme so far, not that I think it is bad but I do the "confrontation" with my fear daily. I fear to go to the swimming pool but I do go... But what I want to write about is something different and perhaps some of you have made the same experience. I have thought a lot about my panik attacks and couldn't find a "reason" why they happen to me. Like most of you I am able to manage my life and am "successful" but the panik attacks showed me how fragile I am. Going back at least 17 years ago, I had the first feeling that I am not able to cope, I developed a fear to fail for the first time in my life and it never left me since then. If you would look at my CV you would be impressed or surprised why I have such fears. I am successful at most things I am doing but the fear has never left me. After the first fear stopped (change of school) it got me with my favourite sport. I was not able to play without that fear - horrible. At around the same time I started working and you know what happened. I think that is the reason that I developed an eating disorder which I got under control last year when the panik attacks set in. I still feel the fear inside me and try to cope and overcome it because I have managed so much things but I can't feel happy. Other people are impressed but I am not. Perhaps some of you feel the same. It would be nice if you could give me a feedback or write something about your experiences. Thanks a lot for reading
