Hi Debbie! Congratulations on starting the CBT program! It's hleped me a lot and I'm sure it will help you. Don't worry about your eye twitching. I get it every now and then expecially when I'm tired and have been doing a lot of reading and computer work (and I'm a translator, so you can imagin how much of that I do!) It's nothing dangerous, it will go away.

Hi Vickers, Thank you, whenever you post me it so helps me and calms me down you have that wonderful effect. My friend {well thats debateable} called when I was napping and then called later and yelled at me for sleeping, saying "I am going backwards and never going to get better....and on and on and on. I think the very worst thing you can tell a sick person is they are never going to recover, that is one of my fears and she just brought it to the forefront, I think she started this arguments so she could get out of taking me to my Doctors appt tomm for the phycologist, I will reschedule or find another way, I thought that was terrible that she would say such things to me, or any other person suffering from a illness whether physical or emotional? What that not out of line VIckers? I am not going to talk to her for awhile, she upset me very bad, my husband is angry too she would talk negative like that. I hope you do NOT have insomnia tonight, How are you doing? you sound good and I hope you are. I will talk to you soon. Thanks so much again, God bless, Debbie.

Hey Debbie! Don't worry about your eye twitching. It's nothing more than a nerve freaking out for whatever reason. But, it is not dangerous in any possible way. It's very normal and means absolutely nothing. There's nothing you can do about it. It will go away on it's own. Sometimes I get it for a couple days. It's annoying, but it's nothing to worry about. I hate taking naps! I don't know why some people say they feel refreshed after taking naps. I always wake up from a nap feeling disoriented and dizzy and out of it the rest of the day. I don't care how tired I am throughout the day, I don't take naps. I hate that feeling! I don't think it's the Paxil and caffeine interacting with eachother that makes you feel more anxious at certain times of the day. We tend to get into a habit of panicking at different times of the day or in different situations. Tell yourself things like, just because it's the same time of day I usally panic doesn't mean I will right now. Or, just because I'm panicking right now doesn't mean I will panic this time of the day tomorrow. It's hard to break a habit, but it can be done! I have a habit of getting anxious to the point of insomnia on Sunday nights. I've had this since I was a kid. I'm still trying to beat that habit but I have faith that one day it will go away. Some Sundays are easier than others. I never knew it was something that could be worked on until I started the CBT though. So many wasted days and years..... I wish I had known what I have learned here all those years ago! But, I guess all we can do is start with today.

I went to bed and slept for a few hours just to escape the panic symptoms, now I feel dizzy and disorianated, can laying in bed all day make you dizzy? I feel very defeated that is not a good way to handle panic or anxiety by taking to your bed, my husband is here to watch my son but I still very lousy about it, I feel like I may be getting my husbands cold which will not help things at all. Does anyone else ever go to bed just to relieve it? My eye is twitching and I am so dizzy and queasy, thats probably the paxil, I took it late this morning instead of early, I feel so bad, I so want to get better. I am up and dressed now but it was hard, I am probably sinking into a depression from all the panic. IF anyone can help please do, my eye will NOT stop twitching and its scaring me. GOd bless and thank you, Debbie.

I restarted the panic program and session diary and I am reading about the CBT its very informative. I have noticed a pattern when I first wake I am shaky but functionable, I have weaned my coffee down from 4 huge mugs to 2 small 6-0z cups, after I drink the coffee that is when it starts I am going to wean down to one little cup then to none, I know you have to do it slowly or you will get headaches and I get these anyway. My eye has been twitching all night and day, is that stress? or just eyestrain from computer and book reading? Its like a "tingle-twitch" on my eyelid. Right now I feel a panic coming on and am trying to fight it off, my eye is tingling and I feel scared, its the same time every day, and then towards nightfall I am a little better, more calmer when the sun goes down, I find that strange I feel better in the dark! I can only leave the house at night without extreme anxiety, What do you all make of that? Perhaps the Paxil and caffeine are interacting or fighting with one another. Does anyone else get that eye-lid tingling and twitching, I thought a good nights sleep would cure it but its still here, I went to the Optomtrist last week and he said my eyes were alright. Thanks everyone, I am doing the CBT on this site and so really trying. Please send prayers. Thank you, God bless, Debbie.
