I found GasX to be a really effective drug store aid as well, as was adopting a diet that was lower in fibre/easier to digest (ie: cooked vegetables instead of raw, root vegetables instead of cruciferous ones, etc). It passes. Eventually.

I have been having this gassy and bloating problem for almost 4 weeks. It has gotten easier. I'm hoping I'm nearing the end. It's awful to feel like this every day but I'm not smoking again so I'm going to deal with. They gasx I find it helps. But hang in there everyone. We got this

Yes, these are all side effects of quitting smoking. They should clear up in awhile. If you are really concerned about them though, I'd suggest you go see your doctor. Congratulations on quitting smoking!

Hi,

I had severe heartburn for 20 days after i quit smoking, and then now i am having bloating and gas problem along with constipation. In between i feel sore throat. is this common after quitting smoking.
