Thanks for filling us in.  Sorry about all the comotion in your life, but it sounds like you are handling it very well.  Hopefully things will calm down soon and you can get a grip on othe emotional turmoil, that is hard to deal with.

Oh my can I relate to your observation about emotions.  It does get easier to manage, but I can tell you on my own journey it's been easier to quit smoking than it has been to get a handle on my emotions!
 
You'll get stronger every day - embrace it.  I can say that's one of the best parts of this journey is to identify the changes in ourselves that we were previously too busy smoking to notice!
 
Best wishes to your family, sorry you've got a lot on your plate but it's sure they're better having the non smoking you to lean on than the alternative!  Share your new strength and they'll all be so lucky to have you there.
