Hey, Jeniwho!

Hi Memie. From my readings, I think if you've got a quit off the ground without NRT, you should try to move ahead. The nicotine has been out of your system for a few weeks and using NRT would just reintroduce it. However, NRT can make a comeback, especially (I read) when someone has just slipped. Using it can be instrumental in getting people back on the wagon fast before they relapse. Those are opinions. You make the call based on what you know about you.

My Mileage:

My Quit Date: 5/1/2009
Smoke-Free Days: 292
Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,176
Amount Saved: $3,168.20

Check with your doctor and pharmacist to be sure and do use coping mechanisms to help you out!

I've been smoke free for 22 days and  the cravings have been worst in the last two days. I quit cold turkey but I do have nicorette gum just in case I need something to take the edge off.  Is it better for me if I don't chew gum?
