Why Depression

for 16 år siden 0 24 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Did you know that clinical tests have proven that it is impossible to be depressed while trampolining!

Get yourself a little re-bounder or jump on the kids trampoline for just 10 minutes and you CAN NOT feel depressed for hours!  It's a total cure!  I have been a trampoline coach for 18 years and have my own DVD teaching adults how to trampoline because of the many health benefits, including depression. I once helped a mother who was feeling post natal depressed by encouraging her to get on her kids trampoline a couple of times a day, even just for 5 or 10 minutes. The effects last for ages after. Albert Earl Carter is an expert on the subject if you wish to read further....

Just thought I would share!

Sunshine,

Depression and low mood is a common symptom of withdrawal.  When you smoked, nicotine triggered the release of neurotransmitters in your brain. These neurotransmitters are responsible for good mood. When you quit, it isn't uncommon for your mood to take a nose dive.

This case of the blues is temporary and until it passes, there are a few things you can do:

* Exercise as it releases endorphins and these are also conducive to good mood.

* Rewarding yourself with something pleasurable. This triggers the same release of neurotransmitters we mentioned.
* Get outside and get adequate rest as these also affect your mood.

Members, what were your experience with low mood while quitting and how did you cope?
