Before I started klonopin I used to experience the "eye thing", would get so bad I would be partially blind for an hour or so...ophalmologist did a workup on me, dxd as Ocular Migraines..have had one mild one since. Scary, that's for sure.
Jen . . . I was so happy to read your post and know that I am not alone . . . . I have EXACTLY the same thing and it is driving me crazy! I always have intense anxiety with neck tension and dizziness and headaches but pushing on my ear and popping my ears seems to be a habit that I have developed in trying to deal with it. I am constantly pushing on my ears and popping them . . so much so it has become compulisive I am sure. So hopefully you will feel better too knowing your not alone.
You both sound as though you may have TMJ. I had it years ago, and it gives you those symptoms, then you freak out and panic. You may want to go to the dentist and get checked for this. Cathie
Hi Jen,
I have the same problem, my panic attack starts with having a tight head or headache one sided, then feeling light and weak, immediately i imagin myself fainting or loosing control, then i start to panic, at this stage, i am able to stop my panic immidately telling myself that it will past and i should resist, hope this helps a bit
Thanks Lily
Jen,
It is quite common when a panic attack is about to come along, to have an "aura". The symptoms you are experiencing, could very well be this "aura".
Take Care,
Melanie

My panic attacks usually begin with either a headache or dizziness or and eye problem of some kind that sends me into a frenzy of wondering what's wrong with me. Lately though, I've been noticing that at times when I feel dizzy, I have the urge to pop my ears, like there is a pressure or something...I don't really have a lot of headaches, but does anyone know what causes this??? Or does anyone else experience this?!
