Your guide to quitting ? Being aware of junkie thinking!

for 16 år siden 0 1 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
For me junkie thinking is just me trying to find an excuse to ______.   Some form of stress happens and I think ooh boy could I use a smoke!  Stress is there on a daily basis so I could easily find an excuse.  Dieting is the same, if my mind is not set on what I am supposed to do, I just wait for an excuse to happen and hooray diet is over!  The same for me and smoking.  I tried a couple other times but really then I did not even want to stop smoking...so I always failed.  I remember one time I was so nasty when trying to stop smoking that my family wanted me to go back to smoking.
I stopped smoking on the day I got my 4th pacemaker.  I just made it through my dauther's wedding (Aug 23rd), the junkie talk has been there.  Luckily it only lasts for a few seconds usually.
I wish we could forever silence our junkies!
