These are some great motivators!
Any one else want to share what motivates them to maintain their quit?
What are some of the benefits you, and even others, are noticing?

WOOHOOO    good for you ... and you will gain more confidence ..

you will not worry at work, if you smell anymore..

Now when you walk past someone.. you can smell the smoke.. I am just totally dumbfounded... We take such pride in being clean, doing our hair, dressing nicely... and then we smoke and.  smell like  ... YUCK  and we dont even know it.

A friend gave me a hug early on in my quit.. she said your hair smells great.. and asked what products I used.....

I had washed my hair the DAY before... Oh wow.. that made such an impact on me.

( I now realize she probably did it on purpose.. )  but I can pick up my clothes now.. after wearing them.. and take a smell... fabric softner... not stale tobacco.

my dogs are nt sneezing... and are on my lap... not jumping off (when I lit up then sneezed or shook their little heads..)

you will find many motivations.. keep them close.. and keep that quit new  and proud.

Bonnie

Winelover,

Congrats on 40 days and your new relationship!  Way to spice things up!  Your right...exercise is so much more enjoyable and doable when you don't smoke, it can really make a difference.

Hey....

Personally my two great movtivators to stop smoking are:

1) Kissing. Ever since I stop smoking my girlfriend cant stop kissing me. She says that I smell great. This is very important. Kissing is a great way to promote intimacy in your couple..You dont want to trade your partner for a pack of smokes do you....

2) Exercise. Cant really workout and smoke and the same time. It is one of the other....Smoking and exercising is like trowing your money to the fire...

Any takes on this...
