Extreme muscle tension

for 19 år siden 0 39 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Sammi, I can totally understand what you are going through. I have extreme muscle tension all over my intire body. I have such muscle tension in my head that it feels like my head is being squeezed and my nose even feels like someone is squeezing me from the inside. It feels weird like alot of pressure in my head and nose. I hold my muscles so very tight that I dont even realize that when I am standing I am squeezing all of my muscles and holding them tight. I am forever trying to relax them but they go right back. HELP!!!! anyone else have this problem or suggestions??? I guess maybe getting a massage might help???? Heather

I have the same thing, worst part was my neck! It would hurt SO bad, I feel it was part of my anxiety. Thank god for really sunny warm weather!! I work at a golf course, and with this weather comes LOTS of manual work. It was the best thing for me, working all my muscles pushing a fertilizer spreader around and what not has really loosened up my muscles. Also being in charge of the greenskeeping crew has really kept my mind occupied through the day. Been feeling great ever since. Also and I don't know if this is related to the "flare up" of anxiety I had or not, but since I have stopped taking everything (was taking lots of Advil or tylonol for muscle pain) I have been feeling great!! Don't even have a single drink of alcohol anymore. No caffine, nothing of that nature. Feeling alive once again!! If I do start to feel a little anxious, I will take my dog for a brisk walk, really helps!!

Anita, You have come to the right place! Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When youre finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. This may better assess the situation for all. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any questions or concerns with our "TOOLS" you can contact our support department at support@paniccenter.net. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Hi I get the neck/head tenseness too, which causes bad headaches, couple with sinus problems and it usually triggers a PA. I started trying to pay attention to my body. Its hard to explain but like when I am on the computer I will pause for a second and do a check of my muscles. I am always surprised to find I have my shoulders hunched to my ears, my knees are usually clenched together and the grip on my mouse is tense. Once I notice this I will mentally relax these muscle groups. Tai Chi has also helped me alot with the tenseness.

hi: I just found this discussion by accident. i have the feeling of a very heavy head all the time. It makes me feel like i always need to lie down, even if I've just gotten up! I've always related it to being very tired or sleeping improperly with the wrong pillow. however, I have tried several pillows and can never seem to make it go away. If it is related to anxiety I would be happy to finally have a cause! I've been wanting to go to a massage therapist for months but keep putting it off due to my anixety (go figure!) Maybe massage is the answer? I will let you know when I decide to go. Thanks for the term. I think that explains it better to a doctor rather than "heavy head syndrome"!!!

Hi guys and gals, i have always been bothered with extreme muscle tension, especially shoulders, neck and head, which makes me feel like i am going to pass out' I did try an electric massager after i had a bath , it did work for a short while but doesnt seem to work any more. So if you guys do find anything else that helps it would be greatly appreciated.
