Shallow Breathing & Yawning

for 19 år siden 0 2 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Just a warning........i have the problem with not getting the air to yawn as you all appear to do. BUT, I think some are taking this TOO lightly, or not getting the medical interventation they need to understamnd the root problem. I have been told this is COPD, not just some anxiety....Get it confirmed by your Dr.

high funny reading this i used to have the same problem all the time and used to make me panic i would strart THINKING about breathing and that was it. Dont let anyone say well dont think about it it does not help :). i read a great artical about how the body works and it said if you now right now hold your breath see how long you can do it... the body kicks in and makes you breath and the same will always happen. if you could not do it normaly the body would make you faint and then take control it self. After that i felt a little better and what i do now is ALWAYS carry a tune sweet or a menthol sweet and if i feel like my breathing is becoming short i pop a sweet the kind that cleans your nose and chest like a cough sweet that way every breath i take is a sharp clean feeling breath, only trouble is my dentist is getting much better off. :) hope some of this makes sense as i do go on a bit

This is some info I found on not being able to get the air we want to breath ""A related possibility is that some of the tiny air sacs in the lungs, called alveoli, don€™t have enough air in them so they partially collapse, the lungs stiffen, and the yawning reflex is a signal from the brain to bring more air into the lungs to open these small sacs or alveoli again" Text I experience more when I try to sleep and it keeps me up for hours

Hi all, I have the same horrible shortness of breath off and on all day. I always take deep breaths and yawn. It is obviously just another one of the fun, wonderful symptoms of this monster we call anxiety. I hope that you all feel better soon! Jason

I have been experiencing many of the symptoms that you all describe. I almost always feel like i need to take a deep full breath, and end up yawning alot. I have sometimes woken up at night feeling like I cannot take a deep breath. I find my posture can influence this... slouching makes it worse for me. It is almost always present when driving in a car too. Taking a warm bath helps me cope, and if im busy, I dont feel it as much. About 1 year ago I started taking Ritalin for ADHD, it seems somehow related to my med. but has gotten worse in the last 3 months. -Chris

chanda: I am new into this, but finally diagnosed with panick attack sindrome and sever anxiety. Now i am on meds, zoloft and xanax when needed. I feel better , but have the same sensation as you do , with short of breath all day long and just can breath clearly when i yawn of force it very hard (not always reaching the perfect breath). Is this normal into anxiety or i have a lung problem or breathing problem, cause i cant understands it lasts all day long. Please will be glad if anyone can answer me. thanks, Macaca

On this site that we are on there is a place where you can search subjects so I put the word breathing in the search area and then it asks how many days I put 365 days. make sense I hope
