For those dippers out there

Butterfly Swimmer, Glad to hear school is going as well as your quit! :) Things on my end are going about as well as can be. I'm still working for the same company, surprisingly enough, although the owner is still looking to sell so I've been working on my backup plan. I'd really like to get in to IT, so I'm starting at the bottom and getting ready to try to work my way up. I'm trying to home study for the A+ Certification exam, which is vendor neutral (i.e. not geared specifically towards Windows, Cisco, Linux, etc.). Once I complete certification I'm hoping to be able to get in the door somewhere and work on some more certifications, eventually be a network admin. or something along those lines. It's something I enjoy and I'm kind of tired of taking jobs just to say I have one and pay the bills. ;) My manager is quit, again. Last time he quit for about six months and then failed and kept using for the remainder of 2006. Then he tried again in January. Failed once about a week in, got back up, dusted himself off and hasn't looked back since. Last time I talked to him he said he has no intention of ever going back. Good man! The other guy I work with really cut back and hardly uses at all anymore. Once in a while, here and there, so life there has gotten much easier on a former user. Yes, Carylene hit the nail on the head. I think both terms are used loosely, but her definition is right on. Well - take care and stay strong all! Good chatting with you again BFS! :) Infinite_D My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/21/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 736 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 15,456 Amount Saved: $809.60 Life Gained: Days: 96 Hrs: 16 Mins: 39 Seconds: 26

I thought dippers dip snuff which is a fine cut tobacco and comes in a can, and chewers chew tobacco which is a coarser cut and comes in a pouch. The dippers just put a pinch between the cheek & gum and then spit, while the chewers actively chew. I could be wrong. I believe those two terms are synonymous. Infinite, yes, I'm doing well. I'm still in school... student teaching next semester and then I'll have my certification to be able to teach Elementary School and will have only 1 year left to get my masters (which I will get while teaching). How are things going in your life? Is your boss still quit? Glad to see you checking in! Crave the Quit! Please excuse my ignorance -- I get what a chewer is .. but what is a dipper? Are both as addictive ? Again, please forgive my ignorance... Hello Butterfly Swimmer! I'm doing well after 2 years tobacco free. How about yourself? You're almost there as well - less than a month to go. That's just purely awesome!!! I'm so happy to see that you stuck it out and look at you now! Are you still taking classes? Seems last I remembered you were starting school or something along those lines. Take care! :) Infinite My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/21/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 733 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 15,393 Amount Saved: $806.30 Life Gained: Days: 96 Hrs: 4 Mins: 31 Seconds: 47

I used it in my quit. Those and sunflower seeds helped tremendously! :) Infinite_D My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/21/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 732 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 15,372 Amount Saved: $805.20 Life Gained: Days: 96 Hrs: 3 Mins: 32 Seconds: 46
