The new forest sounds wonderful and what a great reward. Sometimes it's hard to get through emotional times during our quits especially in the first month. Feelings are all over the place and we're still finding what tools work best for us during craves/changes to our system. Glad you have the strength and great attitude to pull you through the tough parts! Congratulations and enjoy the freedom.

Hi Iwanttobefree, Congratulations on you 35 days so glad you gave yourself a nice reward. I can relate to the feelings of being trapped by those cigarettes I was a slave to mine alway figureing out where and how I could have my next one. Enjoy your freedom to do things and smell the fresh air and thanks for sharing your story it gives us all inspiration to continue on the journey. ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 17 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 346 Amount Saved: $110.5 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 9 Mins: 45 Seconds: 4

Hi everyone i can do this i have got to 35 days, over a month in to my quit,i thought i would not have the will power to do this but i have.It has not been easy i had 2 bad weeks of crying and feeling my world had ended even went to doctors to have check over as i thought something was seriously wrong with me.I know it was and still is my body healing and all that i was feeling was withdrawal symptoms. Some days i havnt had any craveings at all but some days i have such strong craveings i have to realy fight the demon away and i tell it you are not going to beat me as i have got this far and no way am i going through the early withdraw symptoms again. My month reward for getting this far was a day planned out with family and friends we went to a place called the new forest which is a large forest where horses roam free, the sun was shining and hot a lovely summers day we had a lovely picnic and fun running around playing football , rounders, throwing a frizbee and the best bit was i didnt have to keep stopping to light that dreadfull weed and i had so much more energy and was able to keep running and keep up with everyone else. I just wanted to share this with everyone as i feel so happy,i know im still going to get bad days from time to time and i will keep working through them. well done to everyone in there quit and thankyou for reading my post :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 35 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 703 Amount Saved: 178.5 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 4 Mins: 14 Seconds: 42
