Pat, my advice is not to think about it at all. If you cave right now, it will not be because of any rational choice you have made, you are not in a state of mind to make a responsible decision to return to smoking. (there never is one, but i'm trying to start "where you're at"). My advice is to do whatever you need to do to ride this out. Think out of the box. Drop and do 20 or 30, do something nice for someone, -- whatever to just get through (there are lots of tips on this site). Get angry. FIGHT. Much later, you think about the cons of quitting and what you can do to combat those. Because you are a fighter, and you are so worth it, so are your family and friends. check in.
