Glasgow,
Great going!! I'm so happy to have you back here with us. You're doing a fantastic job. You're on your 5th day and almost out of "Hell Week." Fine job!!!
Hey, a lot of us slip and fall trying to quit. The fact is, you haven't given up on quitting and your meter clearly shows that.
Have you read the workbook over on the left side of this page? I imagine you have but you may want to go through it again. It really helped me out. Do you have your water there? You have to drink lots and lots of water. What about gum, hard candy, sunflower seeds, toothpicks, straws, etc. Avoid those triggers as much as possible too. Remind yourself that your body is healing with each and every crave. That's the truth and it's comforting to know that. Read a lot and post a lot. We're here for you at all times.
You CAN and WILL Quit. There's no "hoping" to it. You've got 5 days behind you, you're determined, and you we're here to help each step of the way.
Stay Strong,
Tutti
