PMT bah!!

Oh my God! I thought I was the only one! Thanks for bringing this up! It took me a while to realize that most of my attacks come around the "you know what" time. ;) I went to the ER a several months ago and the nurses alerted me to this - he also said that MEN have certain cycles as well that may affect anxiety levels (I had inquired "OK, that explains me, but what about my dad, who also has anxiety?") What I try to do beforehand is make sure I'm exercising (yoga, walking, whatever), cut back on salt intake to reduce bloating (that's right, I said bloating!), most definitely stay away from caffeine, and remember, as they say, this too, shall pass. At least till next month! Hope this helps! And thanks again for broaching a sensitive subject!!! :)

Ergh Ok, so I've realised that my panic attacks and anxiety are worse at 'that time of month' (I hate saying that! lol). I haven't had a full blown panic attack for months now. I do get little mini ones that pass quite quickly. I also get really anxious and paranoid about all sorts of silly stuff. But it's getting better. Just at that time of month, (ergh), my anxiety levels go through the roof and I get really depressed, and it just sucks really. I've always had PMT but only for about 2 days. So it's never been really a big problem. But ever since panic attacks came into play PMT has been a nightmere. Such an annoying set back! bah, I just needed to vent. Thanks for listening. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to handle PMT? If not, doesn't matter, I'd love to read peoples experiences with PMT.
