Well, everyone had me so worried that today would be soo hard. Everyone said "I quit quitting i=on Day 10", "The cravings were too much to handle by Day 10", etc. Well, I'm here to let you know that it's not always that hard. If you tell yourself there's nothing to worry about, there won't be. I had myself half crazy that I would fail today, because everyone told me that I would. But I didn't. I made it through the day, and feel pretty darn good about myself. We can all do this as long as it is what we want. There is no magic day that tells us we are going to be OK, that it will be that much easier from here on out, that we have 'beaten' it. But we can make that happen for ourselves. All we have to do is say We are going to be OK, It's going to be easier from here on out, and we have this thing beaten. Will power, and positive thinking. Don't we tell our kids (those of us who have 'em) that they can do anything they put their minds too? Well, it goes the same for us. Once we put our minds to quitting, WE DARN WELL WILL!! My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/15/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 243 Amount Saved: $74.25 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 16 Mins: 36 Seconds: 59

Whynot: Good for you! 10 days is wonderful! Your attitude proves that attitude is everything. Post more often, would you? Your positive attitude will help everyone here. You can really help your fellow quitters. And a note to EX-IDIOT: I LOVE your name! 36 days and this is the first we've heard from you??! Where you been? Please introduce yourself so we can congratulate you and get to know you. Congrats on 36 days, by the way. This is an excellent stat that you have going Whynot. It is very encouraging to such a positive attitude. Smoking is not an option is a model that I followed as well. We find other things to do when temptation knocks.
