Nice analogy, Healer. You're advocating just a stay calm and ride it out strategy. I think you're right. More good mental strategy.
It's actually been a bit of a hard day and evening for me. I really thought I would have been through the worst but the head games were stronger today. Those sort of sudden craves that come at you as ideas when your guard is down. Some thought like "go get a pack of smokes" when you aren't expecting anything and are in a situation where you normally would have bought some smokes.
Those are the tough ones. You don't expect them and then, bam, there they are. I rode them out, though, and they trailed off. I wouldn't say they trailed off to nothingness but they did trail off.
Still doing well, here, though. Tomorrow morning I'll have 5 full days. No way am I ever smoking again.
