Elaine, I know I wouldn't be able to because I always smoked more when I was using diet pills. A suggestion I took off this web site was get fat free sour cream and spice it up with Ranch Dressing Packet or even some salsa and eat veggies with it. Also another suggestion is we ordered some of those "old time" cinnamin toothpicks that we used to get way back when. Shoot I am dating myself now. They just arrived and I am LOVING them. Did a search on google to find them. Tried to make them myself but if didn't work. IMO, because they can have a 'speed' effect, they may cause one to feel like they are 'craving'. Appetite suppressants are a temporary fix and, like drinking alcohol, can be a smoking trigger. They can be addictive and can cause other health issues. You don't want to replace a bad habit with another bad habit. Crochet, knitting, exercising, breathing exercises, carrot sticks, toothpicks, sugar free candy, whatever. You have to find some other substitute that works for you. Good luck!!
