I am all done with the first and from what I've been told the worst week of my quit. I am not sure though because I see a lot of people quit 100+ days and then go back to smoking. For those of you who are at this point let me help remind you of the benefits. My first week: Day 1 - I could breath a little easier today. Day 2 - I had a big change in breathing today. I can take deep breaths. My husband can't stop smelling my hair. Day 3 - My sinus problems are all cleared up. Coffee tastes bitter to me, my husband says it always tasted that way. Day 4 - I woke up refreshed. I feel like I have more energy. My base tone in my skin is changing and getting more pink than gold. My skin looks great. Day 5 - My blood pressure has been borderline and my doctor wanted me to take meds. I told the dr. no, I was going to quit smoking first. I took my blood pressure today, and for the first time in years it is not only normal but LOW! Day 6 - As I was walking into work today I smelled the most wonderful fragrance of flowers. They same flowers are here summer after summer and this is the first time I've smelled them. People who come in from smoke breaks really stink! Did I really smell that bad when I used to come in from smoking? navigator. Day 7 - more good things to come... WAY TO GO! It is wonderful what we realize when we quit. Now my hair doesnt get dried out from washing it to much because of the awful smell! I was one of those smokers who couldnt stand to smell myself, LOL. Its great to spray on my perfume and by the end of the day still be able to smell the same smell thats in the bottle. Keep your determination and write in a journal all the wonderful things you share with us to remind yourself when temptations appear. Your doing great Cuddles It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit......
