Yes, quitting too much at once may not do you good. I still remember the first time I quit ( quit all -- coffee, alcohol, and cig.), it was so horrible that my head was so foggy, my mind couldn't concentrate, and my heart wanted to jump out that I had to admit to hospital.
If you stop smoking, but dont want to stop caffein then reduce the amount intake. It definitely helps. However, remembere that caffein can easily trigger smoking.
