Den - I'm sure there will be lots of better advice...but I do remember times when it seemed unbearable. At some point you will travel from unbearable to exhilarated to depressed to angry to exhilarated back to a moment of unbearable followed by moments of normalcy to irritated to happy to sad to happier (oops, a little more unbearable) followed by some normal.....
And I'm not sure where it goes from there...I'm only on day 29. I just know that I did whatever I could to survive those unbearable days which included drinking lots of water, green tea, eating enormous amounts of sour candy, chewing gum endlessly and crawling into bed as soon as it was possible. I know others have used straws, cinnamon sticks and numerous other tools.
The good news is that unbearable doesn't last forever! Sending you strength and good wishes from Canada......
