I find it interesting that most nights I have a dream that is smoking related.
What is even more amusing is that my wife who has never smoked had a dream last night that I was smoking peppermint cigarettes whatever they are?
I dont keep the patches on overnight because the one night I did I had terrible nightmares but I can honestly say I have never dreamed as much in my life until now.
Anyone else get the same?
Phil

smoking dreams yikes, I woke up yesterday morning and my husband asked me how I slept and i said not good I had a 1/2 of pack of cigs. He said oh no I said it was in my dreams. But I do wake up going oh my gosh did I smoke ? I am so relieved when i realise it is a dream. The night before I was riding a horse in Marlboro country. Just kidding.

Phil,
As you can see, you're not alone. Many quitters have smoking dreams and they pass with time.
The only advice I can give is to think about something completely different repeatedly before falling asleep, you may dream of that instead.
Hope this helps,
Danielle

Hi Phil
Vivid dreams are common among quitters. I also talked in my sleep.
Some awaken thinking they have actually smoked and are relieved to discover it was 'just a dream'.
Your wife's dream is interesting. I suspect she likes kissing a peppermint smoker better than a tobacco sucker ;)
Stay strong and sweet dreams!
