I quit on 12/3/2005 and haven't had a smoke since but I am still (and always will be) a smoking addict and I am taking it one day at a time. I hope this time the desire to be an ex-smoker outweighs the desire to have a cigarette. I know I quit many times ranging from 5 minutes to 18 months so I know what a devious addiction this is too. I fought it minute by minute at first, then hour by hour, and now I can say I am fighting it a day at a time. I can live with that. I think if you can make it a day you can make it two, etc. Good luck.
