The summer is not really easy for me because I have more work to do and the temperature is higher, resulting in a poor sleep and more stress. Fortunately, I am not clinically depressed even thought the natural tendency for anxiety and depression is around the corner. I need to find ways to prevent anxiety and depression to take care of my thoughts and actions, and this means using techniques to cope with stress.

I found online in the Centre for Clinical Interventations from Australia some useful tips for stress management based on CBT (I edited some of the tips for clarification of the post):

1 time management skills

2 regular exercise

3 eat well and good sleep habits

4 take time out for family, friends and recreational activities

5 problem-solving techniques

6 learn calming techniques

7 assertiveness and communication skills

8 challenge negative thinking

At first sight this seems overwhelming but I found that I were already doing most things, after all these tips are promoting an healthy lifestyle, which sometimes we forget especially in the middle of stress.
