new negative thoughts ???

Okay, I feel silly.  I get beyond the first exercise in session 9; going beyond and thinking more about my answers.  I look back through program and realize that I've not challenged core beliefs, but negative thoughts.  I understand now.  I also agree with second exercise which is somewhat my question - challenging core beliefs can be a lifetime thing.  Which is good, it means I don't get to keep them all pent up inside once I get some of them out, I just keeping on identifying them.

Goofy,

Have you tried taking notes on the sessions?  This may help you remember.  If you can review your notes it may help you remember the information.

Members, how do you remember the content of the program?

I think from other posts you can see I caught myself in a downward spiral.  I have been going through a rough time, but am getting somewhere and trying not to stay here long.  I've been to three docs and a therapist in the past week and go back to the therapist tomorrow.  They (the docs) think I may have a little shortage of some B12 which could be contributing to my lethargy, concentration and being so scatterbrained (that's good news- it's treatable).  but as a result of this experience, I've recognized other things I didn't realize were in my "bank" of negative core beliefs.  I mean I got a list, a long long list.  I'm on session 9, gonna finish it, but gonna start over again.
Some of them I missed, some of them I've acquired since I started the sessions, but I think I need the whole process of the CBT sessions to work through them.  If my memory were better, I might not need to do this.  I dunno.

Any feedback?  Suggestions?  comparable experiences?
