Everytime I have job interview, first of all I must be ready to face the panel or a big Boss. I prepare myself some possible questions and of course the physically I'm ready. From that, I am confident on the job interview.
The interview itself is fine it's the drive and it's sad cos last year I worked at a place twice as far away aka another mile away and got there just fine. No, I never made it I couldn't drive fricking 1.4 miles but I did practice driving and made myself go down the hill a few times.
How did the job interview go Megan? Job interviews can be very scary for anyone. I had a good friend tell me once, "Why are you scared about interviews? All you have to do is talk about yourself." This stuck with me as it really reframed things for me. I find focusing on my excitement about the job and trying to explain what I have to offer can help distract me from thinking about how anxious I am. Focus on what you want to say and connecting with the interviewers and try not to focus on how anxious you may feel. Easier said then done of course.
I have a job interview this morning. I am nervous about getting there and the fact this is a long interview. I'm nervous about getting an anxiety attack since I have agoraphobia. What mantra should I say to myself to remain calm?
