Ever get "flooded" with ideas?

I'm often overwhelmed, and feel that way after a walk to clear my head, but less so. I've been trying to get house project with estimates, and as I walked, I noted two possible suppliers for materials. It wasn't necessary, as it rarely is, to have more "ideas", since I need decisions, and have a problem with commitment. Yesterday I watched someone describe the difference between deductive and inductive thinking, and saw my flaw, since I pay so much attention to details, and it's probably not good for getting things done. To get things done, it requires a perspective, and with this project, I get pulled away from the general picture, where I could feel balanced and perhaps move towards some closure. It's always better to be away from sitting in front of a computer. As I looked at a gate, I noticed the latch, which seemed to be faulty, might be okay? Maybe the guy never installed it right in the first place, anyway? Now I don't have to be worried about a promise of having it adjusted, and the disappointment, since it seems to work!
