Question about a Pain in my lung

for 19 år siden 0 1128 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hey JaynDee 26 Days is awesome. I get tightness in the chest, the feeling that i really need to get the "crud" out of my lungs but nothing doin... no coughing yet... I bumped (brought forward) the "Brown Crud" thread for you to take a read of. I was just reading a whole heap of older threads. If you are really worried just make an appt with the doc get he/she to check it out. Just remember your lungs are ridding itself of many years of abuse. I know its frustrating but be patient. Hi everyone, I have been doing really well with my quit this time. I have no desire to ever smoke again. I still think about it everyday and I get cravings sometimes but they get better each day. I am almost coming up on a month and I am noticing something weird. I have been getting this sharp pain in my right lung when I take a deep breathe. Its lasting now for three days. I am making an apt for the doctor but I was wondering if this happeneind to anyone when they quit. I also never coughed up any brown stuff. Is that normal? Thanks. JaynDee, you know every quit is different, not everybody coughs up stuff and the body still heals itself, so don't worry about it and I'M sure your Doctor will reassure you. Congrats on your quit. :)Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 59 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 891 Amount Saved: $236 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 20 Mins: 0 Seconds: 15

Jayn, The brown stuff is normal! It is your body's way of detoxing. Check with your doctor for your lungs to rule out anything medical. Keep Strong, Josie ______________________ The SSC Support Team.
