One small goal

for 13 år siden 0 3043 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
One small goal that every depressed patient will be benifited from is to build a small daily routine that you can depend on.  That is something that we can do daily, so that we feel( that somehow and in someway) that we still are in control some of the time. Build a strong daily routine and you can start your morning  with this strong daily routine.
One good routine is to build a small check-list of some of things that you want get done.  The success is defined as " you check every item on the check-list".  It does not depend on whether you complete the item or not.

Experiment with this , and see if it works for you.

MMS,

That is a great image- making the slope easier to climb! You have great insight- I know you will be successful. Your strategy of comparmentalizing your goals is a good one.

Keep up the good work!

The tool  of "goal planner" in this program is based on this principle of "Divide and Conquer".

For small goals, I usually can complete them fully and completely.  For larger goals, they are usually partially completed and not done at all.

Therefore it is advisable to break larger goal into smaller goals, giving the larger goals a better chance for successful outcome.

You may call it "Divide and Conquer", or "Grading" -to make the slope less steep for easy climbing.

My goal is to break all my goals into helpful chunks(smaller goals) for easy biting and pleasure eating.
