Problem solving skills are a very important aspect of CBT but is not easy. I have to say even after years of starting my first CBT attempts I am still struggling with it. Anyway I did not quit and today I am still refining the process. What have worked best for me when I have a problem is to start a blank sheet and simply write about the problem. I am trying to incorporate the several options, advantages and disadvantages, and the next step to put the chosen option in practice. This is in someway inspired by the problem worksheet but look more like a journal.
