Wheel of Emotions

for 3 år siden 0 11226 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0

Hi Scousemouse,

Interesting question! I am not fully informed on alexithymia. I would imagine learning about emotions may help them to attempt to identify emotions in other people. They may even be able to identify some emotions in themselves. I would also imagine this list may be frustrating as they may not experience some or all of the emotions like other people do.

What do you think? How could people with alexithymia relate to or learn from this information on emotions?

Thanks for your question,

Ashley

Hi everyone,

Processing our emotions and learning how to identify emotions can be very helpful in staying mentally healthy. Often times when we are stressed or depressed we may avoid identifying emotions as a way to repress them. This is counter productive, processing emotions helps us to manage them. I came across this great tool that can help you to identify how you are feeling. Identifying emotions really sounds simple but it can take practice. Try this wheel today. How are you feeling? Please share.
