You will be fine. Heat Stroke is NOT a sudden event like a stroke you hear about in your head. Heat stroke is an evolving process. Hydration is key so make sure you are drinking water while you are out there. If you are very active and sweating a lot take frequent breaks and drink plenty of fluids in this case you might want to consider gatorade or a similar sports drink to replenish electrolytes also. Wear light colored clothes and enjoy yourself. Just dont over do it and you will be fine

I was out in the sun today...This morning i was playing golf and i got a sunburn(not that bad of one tho) and then i went to my friends house and layed out in the sun and then went swimming but i didnt drink much fluids. I am so scared that i am going to have a heat stroke! I have been out of the sun for about 4hrs and i feel fine and i am cooled off...i am scared! Now i am afaird to go bad outside tomorrow! As long as you keep fluids down you are ok right? Thanks for the help! Luv Blondie
