Hello everyone:  I received this today in an email and though I'd share it with you.  Makes you think.

A question was asked the Dalai Lama.  "What thing about humanity surprises you the most?"
Dalai Lama's answer:  "Man"

"Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money,
Then he sacrifices his money to recuperate his health.
And then he is so anxious about the future that he doesn't enjoy the present
and as a result he doesn't live in the present nor the future.
And he lives as if he's never going to die and then he dies having never really lived."

Hi Red,

Nice to see you back here. You certainly have come a long way and I'm sure it's satisfying for you to have your partner comment on your accomplishments as well! I'm proud of you and so happy that the program has been of help to you. Way to go!

Hi Davi,

Thanks for the welcome home..and it's good to here you say you are happy for me...It means a lot coming from one of my fellow group members.. As for the Engines in the pic right in from of me the green one is a 1928 McCormick-Deering 1 1/2 HP type M and the Grey and Red one is a  1935 McCormick-Deering a 2 1/2 HP type LA...Thats what my partners said when I asked him..He is the expert on the engines...I am his sidekick...I will be pictures of some John Deer Tractors that were in the tractor parade for you too... In answer to your question about the engines being heavy to load they sure are, about anywhere from 250 to 350 lbs..Thats what we are carrying right now.. We use a winch to load and unload them...
Some people bring there equipment on car haulers because they weight any where form 200 to 3000 lbs...We travel with a travel trailer not a motorhome so we can not put a car hauler with us...So we stick to the smaller stuff....Anyway I hope you enjoy the pics I will be putting up soon.  Its nice to talking with you again..

Your forever friend,

Hi Sunny,

Good to here from you too and thanks for the welcome back...Yes that is one of my partners antique farm engines in the foreground.  I will put up a pic of a two cute little girls and there mother who were in the tractor parade next. These shows are a way of teaching children about their early heritage and how it was back on the farm in the early 1900 and before...Next year there may be some children attending the show from a very small local school in the area...Yes it was warm in the Arizona desert near Yuma..There are many people you come down from Canada to spend there winters there every year..
So I enjoyed the weather and company of many interesting people for all over....Any way I will put up some different pics from time to time of my adventures in the desert....Oh ya!  My partner said I seemed much more relaxed  and comfortable on this trip after working the program here for the last year of so..I would have to agree that this program and support group has helped me a Great deal....Talk to you all later...

Hi Red.

You know I'm happy for you but I will say it anyway. Happy for you.

I see the one lungers in the foreground. I won't presume they are John Deere just because they are green, it was a common colour. One thing I have always been curious about is how you load and unload them. I know some have skids with handles but aren't they heavy?
I know what you mean about the open spaces, I have been fortunate to live where I do on my fifteen acres. (used to be 150)

Hi Red:  Good to hear from you.  Was wondering what you were up to these days.  Oh, it looks lovely and warm in your photo.  Is that some antique equipment I see in the foreground?  Glad you're back and you sound so positive.

Your friend, Sunny
