HI Diva, great job. Yoga is hard. My mom and sis do it. Whenever I visit them I always have a hard time with the class. Its tough. They are used to it, so their poses are really good. I enjoyed the pilates with the ball. I did that with them a couple of times and I was actually not bad at it. So great job on going to Yoga, its very good for you, and you do feel tired and relaxed:)

Yoga by the beach sound soooo chillaxin! Haha.

I signed up for a belly dancing class and I went yesterday but it was postponed for next week! I was bummed because I was really excited and nervous about it.

Today I went to my first Yoga class ever!

At first I was really anxious. There was a bunch of stranger I was in a strange place I hadn't been too in a while. My safe people were not with me. At least I had my stepdad there! My heart was beating so fast! I felt so panicky! I just wanted to run to the nearest pay phone and ask my husband to come get me! Had not felt that panicky in a long while. But I was outside near a beach at sunset. So I lay there welcoming the sun and just did my breathing. When the class started I really tried to just be present to the experience. And what do you know! I relaxed! I even caught myself yawning a few times! The yoga was really nice. It was very traditional and there was chanting from the teachers part. Being very musical I loved the chanting it felt very relaxing to me. Some things were tough and very tiring. Some things were very nice and relaxing. The cleansing breathing was a bit tough for me as it made me feel like I would hyperventilate! Overall it was a good experience though. I will go next week. My stepdad will bring me again!I had a good evening. And the setting sun over the water was amazing!

Pretty happy I stuck it out!

Thanks Diva:) I will let you know about the belly dancing. I didnt have a chance yesterday, but hopefully today or tomorrow to try it. I'm sure its going to be lots of fun:)

Glad to see your husband is making positive changes. Mine has been making positive changes in the last few days too and I must admit it feels great! Glad you are excited about the gym!

My hubby has been overweight his whole life, and after 5 years of marraige he finally decided to go and join, i'm very suprised. He wants to go twice a week, and just him joining makes me feel like hes finally taking care of something. All his friends are taking care of their weight, so maybe its rubbed off a bit.i'm just happy about it. I worked out in a gym in toronto for years, but havent been in one since then. I always love to workout and I enjoy the gym, its good for me and makes me have social interaction. Its walkable from home, or I can hop on the bus for about 2 mins, and walk home. So i'm super excited. Later on i'm going to try my bellydancing dvd. :)

sounds like fun diva, my hubby and me are going to sign up for the gym tonight, it was his idea, and i'm very suprised, he is not one for any excersize so its going to be interesting, and a good sign that he wants to start taking care of himself.

Oh cool! Can't wait to see what you thought! Me, I did some in my living room yesterday. I even dressed up for it too lol! Had fun! Might go sign up for a class on thursday. We will see!

HI Diva, I was at the library yesterday and picked up a beginners belly dancing dvd to try today.:)
