Congratulations Breather! Make sure you mark this anniversary with a Grand Celebration, because 11/11/11 will not happen for another 1000 years! I know you struggled the first while, but yes you are so very correct that it does get better, and the freedom from that addiction is so very well worth every day spent getting here! Cheers! Thank you for the kind words everyone. Whether we've stopped smoking for 12 days or 12 years what we do today is what matters. I would never have thought that I'd ever be a non-smoker and actually enjoy it. It was quite the journey in the early days just trying to hang on and make it through another day but that's changed now. For those with a few days in or a couple of weeks know this , " it seems like it will never get any better but it will and it does " persevere and we will beat this. To borrow from another member here , will it get any better ? Hell ya it will ! Excellent for us. breather
