Hooray - reached a month - cold turkey
I told my husband yesterday that "I'm walking myself to death" - he said that's better than "smoking yourself to death"
I'm walking 3 or 4 X's a day - approximately 20 minutes each time and it's helping fight the craves and hopefully extra lbs.
Drinking lots of water, sucking on ice and deeping breathing - and of course posting, reading and my diary on SSC.  I know I'm still "puff away from pack a day" because I'm thinking constantly about smoking but my actual craves are pretty low for the 30 days.
One day at a time helps my "mindset" because it's is "reachable" instead of thinking I need to go a year or 5 yrs etc.

My Mileage:

My Quit Date: 4/10/2010
Smoke-Free Days: 30
Cigarettes Not Smoked: 450
Amount Saved: $112.50
Life Gained:
Days: 4 Hrs: 7 Mins: 47 Seconds: 46
