Rewards - stories, ideas

For small rewards a good book, or I would just find a good place to chill out and go there.  For big rewards I buy chrome for my bike or more leather.  For my almost 1 year reward I bought a new bike.

Cristinas,

Good for you for being active in your progress and rewarding yourself for choice to quit!  You can also do an search within the forums for threads that were posted previously about rewards!

Ok, members..how do you reward yourself?

I was "talking" with one of the non-smoking buddies on this site about the importance of rewarding yourself during this challenging process. Some of you guys might be familiar with the idea. We, on the other hand, have no idea how to do something for ourselves. We've been, thoughout our lives, the ones rewarding others, the ones pampering others. For us, the cigarettes were a form of reward - as bad as they were for us... And now, that our time came, we find ourselves in this odd position of not knowing what this is all about.
So, I thought I would ask around, and try to "educate" myself - and others in my position...
What are your rewards? What do you do for yourselves that is considered a reward.
Please be gentle... no sweets, no fast-food... I am also trying to keep myself from gaining -too much- weight .
Keep the quit!
Cristina
