Momma D...

Please do not give in....I had stopped smoking for almost 9 months and something VERY stressful happened
to me and my family (including just recently with a job loss) and started smoking again because that is what I
thought would be best.  I needed my crutch.  Well, I have to start over again because I gave in.  I'm on day 10 now.  Trust me when I tell you...you DO NOT want to be back at this stage again.  You will just add more stress than what you
already have AND you know that it doesn't help the situation any.  You will still feel stressed afterward and you
the situation will not have changed afterward either.  Be strong.  Breathe deep.  Grab a straw or carrot or and suck on that (I know it sounds strange, but that had helped me get through this past hell/heck week.)

We are behind you....Keep the Quit!

Mamma D! Don't do it!  I've done that so many times, and you will feel more stressed and depressed if you cave than you do right now!  Take a deep breath, take some time for yourself to destress, you are worth it!  and your QUIT is worth it!  Hang in there, I'm on day 1 AGAIN.....you don't want to be where I am...

Mamma-Stressful times are a big trigger for me, as well, but if you light one up, you start to slide on that slippery slope---I know!  Keep your wits about you and remember that a smoke won't change the situation at all.  I'm rooting for you!!!

Mamma D. Don't throw away 136 days.  Distract yourself, take a walk, buy some gum or wash the car.  Just don't light up.  You will hate yourself believe me I know.  Starting allover again SUX.

No it is not worth it.

You are 136 days in  Do you know how amazing that is?  You should be basking in your glory now.  Yes, you will have bad days and today is a bad day.  But isn't it so worth it?  Tell me what it feels like now to be a none smoker. How do you feel different physically and mentally?

You deserve a nice reward for getting through today.  How will you be rewarding yourself?

Very bad time right now.  Major crisis that I know a cig will not change but I cant seem to get my head past that desire.  I know all the right words and I'm doing all the right things but its really getting to me today.  The worst has seemed to lessen while I was waiting to log in and I;m feeling better the more I type but this is a major battle right now.    My head has already made the decision to light up but ddthis group is here guiding me and giving me strength to ride through this storm.   It is not  worth going back to day one all over again.  I need help!!!!!
