What?? Already? You gotta be kidding!!!! MM, you are a true asset to this site. I look forward to all of your posts. You've worked hard to get to where you are, but you're one of the bestestest quitters ever! And what a wonderful reward...got room for me too? My Milage:
My Quit Date: 1/3/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 385 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,700 Amount Saved: $2,926.00 Life Gained: Days: 42 Hrs: 1 Mins: 38 Seconds: 40
Believe it or not, this kind of snuck up on me! Thank you so much for all of your good wishes and congrats. I have been in court all morning and this is the first opportunity for me to log on today---and there my name was in lights
No, HP, three months simply isn't long enough to be over a habit....I am still having days that I trudge through and fall into bed exhausted from the fight. But it is getting easier. Something Msreader posted struck a chord with me, about being over confident once you feel you got a grip on this and thinking that with just one won't hurt. All my previous quits were blown with that thinking and by smoking 'just one'. Live and learn.
I am proud of myself!
Today's reward was booking and paying for the reward for myself and my husband at the end of March (close to our six month quit) and also in celebration of his birthday (4/25), my birthday (4/28), our youngest childs birthday (4/23) and our anniversary (4/24)-----it's a 7 day cruise with stops in Dominican Republic (a private island), St. Marteen, Antigua and Nassau. My husband and I and our daughter! I'm excited!
You guys are the bestest and I don't know what I would do without you!
Hugs and Kisses
