I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better.  I thought that thats where I was at too, and a bad day gets thrown in.  Oh, well, today was much better.  Thanks for checking in with me..I appreciate it.  I feel as though we are so close in our quits and so close with our reactions to it, its almost creepy.  So I KNOW when you say you understand what I am feeling, I really feel as though you KNOW.  I know others do to, but I feel so weak sometimes, and others very, very strong.  I know I have a friend in you.... (Toy Story the movie)

Have a wonderful weekend My friend.

I'm so sorry I missed you yesterday but I wasn't able to be here.  A day has gone by so I hope today is better for you. I sure wish I had a magic wand to wave for you.  I am always so proud of you for having the courage to come here and letting out what you need to.  Your honesty is a great quality and I think it is helpful to others here.  You know I have been  walking in the same shoes.   I do have to say that things have been going much better the last few weeks on my end.  I am not sure why.  I didn't do anything different or have a revelation or AHA moment,  but one morning a few weeks ago I woke up and something felt different. I was more relaxed in my mind. I have been able to dismiss the desire easier for some reason. If I had to explain it I would say my mind just finally said," OK, Enough is enough, I am done with this frame of mind." It was not a conscious decision by my active mind, more of a subconscious thing.  Now, having stated that, I hesitate to say that out loud because the last time I did that I was overcome with a few days of hell craves, but I'll take my chances.  I sure wish I knew why this lasts longer for some people and why each quit is different.  If we could answer that we could sell a book and retire early.

Don't know what to say but hang in there and know you are in my thoughts.  Give me a call anytime Kelly.  I check in here as often as I can.  Respond if you can today.  I will check before i leave work tonight.

Hi Kelly

I have to say that things have been going much better lately.  I am still surprised at the strength of the cravings at times but am riding it out better.  I am at work this evening so I gotta run but thanks for responding and I'll talk to you soon.

Thanks for asking and bringing this back up.  It is always good to hear from you, I miss talking to you when your away.  How are you these days?  I still have my ups and downs, but nothing as bad as the original date of this post....it scares me that those can happen at any time..but at least I know I can get through it with all of you here to help me.   Hope all is well with you, take care my friend.

Hi Kelly

Sorry to bring this thread back up but just wanted to say Hi and I see that ML and Freedom26 also stopped by with a few words. Hello to the No-embers.  I caught a few recent posts from you and I am glad you are doing alright.  I have been gone for a few days so I am just catching up.  It is odd but I find myself wondering about the folks here when I'm away for any length of time.  A GOOD DAY TO YA!!!!!!!!

Kelly, bravo to you tough lady

Milestones happen at different times for people, sometime 90 days, 100, etc....I think JOhn had a real hard time around 150 days too.

Don't forget to reward yourself, it is so important, make sure you do it.  You have a lot of money saved already - spend some on yourself.

I am buying a new soy candle for myself and a friend this weekend.  I treat myself alot, mostly in the form of chocolate

Be easy on yourself, this is a hard thing we are doing.

Keep hanging tough
Sue

Tresa,

Please tell me that at 2100 days this isn't happening to you anymore.  Now for me I can understand, but for you, that would really suck.  Thanks for the post Mrs. Inspiration, you are OUR ROCK!!
