Today wasn't to bad for me. I think because after 7 little mistakes, I got straight back on the horse, the habit of not smoking is still in my system from the past month. I am joining the gym aswell. A positive attitude brings positive results!! Naomi, Keep persevering, set backs happen and they are just little bumps in the road. Don't ever give up! You can send Mr. Ed an IM and let him know. Sylvie, Bilingual Health Educator

Naomi... I replied to your other post also... I am sooooo glad to see that you didn't let your slip slow you down!!! You don't need to say sorry... we all know and understand what you are going through. I am so glad that you got back up, dusted yourself off and jumped back on the train!!! Welcome to the April Ashkickers!!!! Glad to have ya with us kickin some Ask!!!!!!! As far as letting Mr. Ed know about your stats... There is a post going now in the stats section called something like "New quitters read on"... I would just post it in there.. he should see it... Or you could write a thread to him and title it with his name... This is quote from myself in another post. Thank you so much guys, you are all so fantastic. I have to confess that I had a minor slip and have been dealing with the guilt for the past week. I have been lurking here every day and doubting wether or not to come clean. I think a part of me was hoping that my 1 month mark would go un noticed Frown It doesn't help that almost everyone I work with has given me the advice that if I keep it to just a couple of cigs a day I will be ok, of course the junkie in me loved to hear this, but the better educated side of me that loves being a non smoker kept bringing me here everyday. In the past week I have had 7 cigs, after all that hard work Frown It's crazy but another junkie thought I had was "everybody slips at least once so why should I be able to do it first time around" It's amazing what our inner demon will do to try and convince us. Well, today I got an all clear result from the hospital for a long running health condition that convinced me to stop smoking in the first place, so here I am guys, with my tail inbetween my legs. Sorry. So here I go with my new quit, I must admit it hurt to reset my meter but that is the price I have to pay.
