Terry,
The reason for this anger or feeling upset is justified. Dopamine is a chemical in your brain, triggered by nicotine and responsible for good mood. When you quit, nicotine doesn't trigger dopamine anymore so your mood takes a nose dive. The result? Anger, sadness, irritability.
Keep persevering! It passes. A reward for all your hard work these past can help you mood pick up. You could also try some exercise as it also stimulates dopamine and adrenaline secretion.
As for your dry mouth, make sure your drinking lots of fluids. Keep a glass of water beside your bed and night and everytime you wake up take a little sip.
You're doing great! Stay strong!
