WOW, you sound just like me. The one thing I can identify with is the feeling of being just fed up! Really just fed up with feeling bad all the time. If you think being fed up at day 10 is bad, try fed up at day 278. Try 278 days of cravings and 278 nights of smoking dreams. That's fed up! It's fed up enough to make you scream.
Get the patch, gum, lozenges, nasal spray something to take the edge off and make you feel less like your life is flying apart. I was actually able to maintain with NRT. The cravings were survivable most of the time. The rest of the time, it was white knuckle through it.
10 days is not a terribly long time, that's why the first two weeks are called hell week and heck week. You're still in the first two weeks. I don't know why you decided to quit smoking. I quit because I couldn't breathe. You are doing yourself a favor by quitting when you decide instead of when you have to cause you can't breathe anymore.
Keeping positive is one thing, having patience is another. It will happen, or not, and if you really want to or need to quit smoking you will make it happen for you.
