Here's my 2 cents worth, addicted people feel threatened, lord knows I did, I feared going to a non-smoker's house as I would have to go outside to smoke. It's true that when we smoked, we spent more time with our smoker friends and now that we don't smoke, I guess they miss us. I have a best friend who used to come chat with me at least once a week, we would talk and smoke and have coffee, well she doesn't do it anymore, she's an addict, she sees no fun with sitting without smoking, I understand it, I know she's still my best friend, she just chooses to call me now and she smokes, I can hear her LOL. So things just fall into place after a while. I love my non-smoking life and I have plenty of fun without the smokes. Hope this helps.
