I'm just like you... I NEVER had a problem with weight gain until a few years ago... I noticed that when I turned 26, my metabolism changed. Then, at 28, I quit smoking and have been REALLY battling the weight gain ever since. It's hard to believe that a few short years ago, I was a size 8 and am now a size 16! I've doubled in 5 years! OK, I realize not really... it's just the way the sizes work... but still! I'm not happy with it! I was hoping that after a while, my metabolism would get back to normal after being quit for almost 2 years, but I'm afraid it hasn't! I'm starting to think that my metabolism will ALWAYS be slower now! That sucks! But at least there's something we can do about it. We're all working on losing the weight together!
